Our experienced teams provide pipework, fabrication, welding, steelwork and mechanical installation services across shutdown environments. We understand the pressures associated with short-duration, high-intensity projects and work closely with you and your contractors to deliver quality workmanship while maintaining programme requirements.

Pipework and fabrication
Pipework installation and replacement, fabrication and installation of pipe spools, and on-site fabrication and repairs, delivered within shutdown timescales
Structural and equipment works
Structural and secondary steelwork, equipment removal and installation, and pipework modifications and tie-ins, coordinated across the shutdown programme.
Maintenance, decommissioning and reinstatement
Planned maintenance and remedial works, decommissioning and dismantling, and inspection, testing and reinstatement, completed through to mechanical completion and handover.

Shutdown environments demand careful planning, coordination and execution. PEMEC works within your site procedures and project requirements, coordinating activities to minimise downtime and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
Before the shutdown starts, we can collect the scope, build work packs, carry out constructability reviews and produce isometric drawings. Pipework and steelwork are fabricated and procured in advance, with materials stored at our Hull facility and bagged and tagged for your turnaround scope. On site we provide tooling stores and rigging lofts, followed by QA/QC completions and as-built drawings at the end.
