Stainless Steel Mechanical Package for New Process Equipment

Intro

PEMEC delivered the mechanical package to pipe up new process equipment at a UK chemical and process site, working from February to April 2026. This was repeat work for an existing client.

Project Objective

The client had purchased new process equipment and required it to be piped up, adapting the plant to the new equipment.

Project Scope

The mechanical scope included: 
 
  • Site set-up 
  • Stainless steel welding 
  • Pipefitting
  • Bolting
  • Hydrotesting

Approach and delivery

The principal challenge was the compressed programme. To mitigate this risk, additional resources were mobilised at the start of the project, enabling progress to stay ahead of schedule.
 
The package was successfully delivered on time and within budget, with zero weld repairs required throughout the works.
